The European Knee Associates (EKA) is pleased to announce that the Second open EKA meeting titled “Best Current Practice in Europe (BCPE) - The Osteoarthritic Knee” will be held in Florence, Italy on April 3-5, 2013. Seven hundred-ﬁfty surgeons are expected to come to this prestigious event. The goal of this meeting is to focus on the current concepts of care and to advance the treatment of degenerative knee pathology with the most up-to-date knowledge.
The First BCPE EKA meeting in Vienna was a success with high-level academic debates and excellent exchanging of knowledge, which included the participation of delegates from all over the world. Cooperation with the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR) will be continued for the second BCPE as well. The scientiﬁc presentations will be peer reviewed to ensure high quality.
The attendees, specialized knee arthroplasty surgeons, general orthopaedic surgeons, and young trainees can expect clear guidelines for their current knee practice. Additionally, new developments will be presented and debated with the top European knee surgeons in case discussions.
Workshops will be organized in cooperation with the industry.
