Call for clinical cases submission

Clinical cases contributions of particular interest and educational value will be selected by a Scientific Committee nominated by the GISE Executive Committee and, if accepted, will be presented in the “Best Young Interventional Case Competition” session, held in Sala Grecale on Tuesday, October 19th from 17.15 to 18.15, after the Opening Ceremony.

Selected cases will be judged by a panel of experts who will decide allocation of the 4 prizes of 5.000, 3.000, 2.000 and 1.000 euro, offered thanks to an unrestricted grant of The Medicines Company.

Authors are kindly required to send before August 31^st, 2010 to the Organising Secretariat OIC (e-mail casesgise2010@oic.it)the clinical cases according to the following instructions:

• attached file must be a slide presentation (PowerPoint for Windows or pdf file) with embedded images (do not include videos in the presentation)
• subject of the e-mail: “GISE 2010 Clinical Case”
• attached file must not exceed 5 Mb
• presentation and discussion of the case should be in the same file and include:
  - object
  - clinical implications
  - technical resolution
  - perspectives
• author must be not older than 40 (please send copy of ID or passport attached).

Rational, clinical implications, perspectives, suggestions will be evaluated more than technical figures of the case.
Acceptance, together with all technical details for presentations, will be notified to the submitting Author by October 1st, 2010.

Registration in the Congress is mandatory for the submission of clinical cases.
