After Via Veneto, famous for Fellini’s movie “La Dolce Vita”, and Piazza della Repubblica with the Najadi’s Fountain our promenade through the historical center starts with the famous Trevi Fountain until Piazza Navona (stop), always quite lively and pictoresque, with the Four Rivers Fountain, Bernini’s masterpiece. Along the way we will admire Piazza Colonna with the Column of Marcus Aurelius and the Pantheon, built in the 1st Century b.C. with the widest dome in the world (visit). Continue by coach to the Vatican, the heart of Christendom, passing by St. Angel’s Castle. Visit Saint-Peter’s Square and Saint-Peter’s Basilica to admire, among others, the Pietà by Michelangelo. Ancient Rome

THE CAPITOL - THE IMPERIAL FORUMS - COLISEUM SQUARE - BASILICA OF ST. PAUL’S OUTSIDE-THE-WALLS
Crossing the Quirinal Square, with the Presidential Palace, we arrive at Piazza Venezia towered by the imposing “Vittoriano”. The tour will continue on foot through the Capitol, a unique treasure of history and art, where Michelangelo’s noble architecture blends with Roman times masterpieces. The view from there over the Roman Forum, the most fascinating archaeological area in the world, will leave you breathless. We will then take a walk on Imperial Forums Avenue, admiring the ruins of: Julius Caesar’s Forum, the first one added to the nearby Roman Forum, Trajan’s Forum and its famous Column, Augustus’ Forum, built under the first of the Emperors. Next stop will be in front of the Coliseum, the most famous monument ever built, symbol itself of Rome’s majesty and eternity. Standing in the square are also Constantine Triumph Arch, exceptionally well preserved, and the ruins of the Temple of Venus and Rome. Proceed by bus, passing by the Circus Maximus and the Piramide Cestia, to St. Paul’s-outside-the-walls (visit) built where the Apostle of the People is buried. Return to the hotels or nearest points.

Continue to St. John’s in Lateran (visit) cathedral of Rome and first Papal residence with masterpieces from Middle Ages to Baroque. Stop at the Holy Stairs. Through the first part of the Appian Way, with a view at the Domine Quo Vadis Chapel, we reach the Catacombs (Domitilla or St. Callixtus or St. Sebastian), the ancient underground Cemeteries and extraordinary expression of faith of the early Christians. From February to March 2010 – “The Roman Carnival”

The Carnival in Rome represents an appointment of big success and involves hundreds and hundreds of people every year. People become protagonists “King for one day” and forget for a while a life full of stress and restrictions. Admired from foreign travellers and visitors through the years it represented a source of inspiration for many artists.

A grand exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Boldrini and the other Italian artists who stayed in Paris in the second half of the 19th century. A journey among the biographical events of the three famous "Italians in Paris", De Nittis, Boldini, Zandomeneghi, in the places dear to modern Paris of that time; the teatres, the cafés, the boulevards, the ateliers of the famous artists and those dismissed by bohemian painters, meeting masterpieces by Vittorio Corcos, Antonio Mancini, Paul Helleu, Leon Bonnat, Telemaco Signorini, Serafino De Tivoli, which will be grouped into section.
