TECHNICAL AND SCIENTIFIC EXHIBITION
The leading national and international experts will discuss about different models and methods of visual rehabilitation, on new therapeutic perspectives in low vision pathologies and new technologies during round tables, scientific sessions, workshops, poster session and an exhibition area.
The preliminary scientific program will include an important session devoted to the relationship between clinician and rehabilitator with special regard to current and future therapies of macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and inherited juvenile retinal degenerations.
Great attention will be paid to the presentation and discussion of optical, electronic and informatics instruments and devices for low vision patients and, particularly, to the latest technological news.
About 500 delegates among Ophthalmologists, Orthoptists, Opticians and experts in the field are expected to attend.
Most part of invited speakers have already confirmed their participation and they expressed a great interest for this important international event which offers a global approach to patients during low vision rehabilitation.
During the Symposium an exhibition of pharmaceutical products and devices and scientific publications is also foreseen in the Congress Centre in order to show up-to-date achievements reached by industries and publishing Companies.
