Dear Colleagues,

The next European Glaucoma Society Congress will be held in Copenhagen, one of Europe's great capital cities, from 17 to 22 June, 2012. Our meeting builds on previous successful EGS congresses, which established new standards with a diverse and stimulating scientific program, extensive interaction as well as a wide range of instructional courses.

Special Interest Groups, exhibitors and scientific posters add a variety of components from which to pick. Trainees, general ophthalmologists and glaucoma specialists alike will find topics of interest. And the friendly and cosmopolitan environment peculiar of the EGS Congress will make networking and exchanges a natural occurrence.

The City of Copenhagen has itself much to offer, and June is a perfect month in which one might enjoy the metropolis and its environs. The congress centre and main hotel are at the border of the fabulous Tivoli Gardens.

EGS Copenhagen 2012 promises to be an exciting and fun-filled meeting.
