The registration fees of the 9
th Congress have purposely been kept at a reasonable level, despite the steep rise in costs seen in the recent years.
Online registrations
are available now with possibility to select the preferred courses.Register now to guarantee your preferred courses, seats are limited!!
Advance registrations are preferred in order to facilitate planning of the scientific sessions and social events of the congress.
On site registration is strongly discouraged and availability for social events could not be guaranteed.

* application for the resident fee should be certified by a letter from the head of the department, stating that the applicant is an ophthalmology resident at the time of registration within 14 days from registration otherwise the regular fee will be applied. The letter is to be sent to the Organising Secretariat OIC – fax ++39/055/5035230 or e-mail:

^ Application for special financial assistance must be made in writing to the EGS Secretariat, not later than April 30th, 2010.
§ Spanish Day registration is a daily registration applicable only for scientific sessions on September 17th, 2010 (Spanish Day + SIGs meetings). Participation in these special sessions is already included in the full delegate rate.
Registration with the congress is mandatory for all oral and posters presenters
Conference registration fees (delegate and resident in training) include
- Admission to all sessions and selected courses (please select preferred courses from list when registering as some of them have limited available seats – only one course per session is allowed)
- Admission to the Spanish Day and SIGs Day on September 17 (please select preferred sessions from list when registering as some of them have limited available seats – only one course per session is allowed)
- Congress kit and name badge
- Final programme and abstract book
- Box lunches and coffee during breaks from September 13th to September 17th
- Certificate of attendance

- Admission to Scientific Sessions on September 17th, Spanish Day or SIGs meeting (according to pre-selection or availability of seats for each session)

EGS SOCIAL DINNER - Palacio de Congresos de Madrid
Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 – h. 20.00
As seats for the EGS Social Dinner are limited, participants are kindly requested to book well in advance and seats will be confirmed upon availability. On site requests are strongly discouraged and on site registrations will be only accepted according to available seats.
Confirmation for the participation will be made to registered participants by a coupon, to be found in the congress kit. The coupon must be exchanged in the entrance ticket at the Social Events Desk, within the date and time indicated on it.
Entry to the Palacio de Congresos for the dinner will not be permitted without the entrance ticket.
The details of the event may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Please note that your registration and/or hotel reservation cannot be processed without payment. Please submit your payment information together with the completed registration form. You may pay by credit card or bank transfer (see details below). We strongly encourage on-line registration (credit card payment only).

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Any changes or cancellations in connection with registration fees, hotel accommodations or excursions must be made in writing to O.I.C. s.r.l., Fax +39 055 5035230, E-mail: registrationegs2010@oic.it.
Cancellation of the registration, social events and hotel reservation will be accepted only until May 12th, 2010. In case of cancellation please apply in writing to the Organizing Secretariat. The paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 30% for administrative charges for each cancellation except booking fees. We regret to inform that no refund will be processed for cancellations received after May 12th, 2010. In case of change please apply to the Organizing Secretariat. In the event of no-show OIC WAY reserves the right to cancel the reservation. No shows cannot be refunded. Refunds will be dealt with after the Congress.
