Let’s Scrub Together was born with a clear purpose: to transform cardiology training into an immersive, pragmatic, and clinically high-impact experience. This multi-year project was designed to meet a specific need in the interventional cardiology community: to provide healthcare professionals not just with theoretical knowledge, but with concrete, reproducible tools to manage complex clinical cases. The ambition was to virtually recreate the cath lab experience, putting experts and participants "in the same room," thinking together, step by step, through strategic decisions, imaging, and patient management.
Delivering a digital education experience that is truly engaging and useful in daily clinical practice. Translating highly complex cases into clear, accessible, and applicable content. Developing an innovative format that combines scientific rigor, advanced technologies, and real interaction between faculty and audience. Engaging key industry players in a credible, long-term, and evolving educational initiative.
Let’s Scrub Together adopted a highly practical and interactive format. Each event - filmed in studio with green screen technology and streamed with personalized virtual backgrounds - focuses on the in-depth analysis of complex clinical cases, using CT imaging and featuring expert contributions both in-studio and remotely. Interactive tools, key take-home messages, and downloadable materials are designed to help participants translate acquired knowledge into daily practice. The endorsement of GISE has reinforced the scientific credibility of the project, while the ongoing support of leading companies such as Edwards Lifesciences, Medtronic, and Abbott - and the growing interest from many others - confirm the initiative’s relevance and potential for growth.
Let’s Scrub Together is now a recognized benchmark in interventional cardiology training: a format that continues to evolve thanks to a shared vision, exceptional content, and the ability to innovate educational tools and language. Because meaningful education is built together, one case at a time.
